Barbora Krejcikova’s 6-1, 2-6, 6-4 victory over Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova makes her the first Czech woman to win the Roland-Garros singles title since Hana Mandlikova in 1981.

The World No.33 took less than two hours to lift her maiden singles major trophy.

Krejcikova is unbeaten in 12 consecutive matches.

She can make it a double triumph at Roland Garros on Sunday, when she along with partner Katerina Siniakova will challenge for the doubles title.
