PUNE: Sangam Young Boys scored once in each half to get the better of Keshav Madhav Prathishtan (KMP) 2-0 in the Second Division PDFA League 2021-22, here on Thursday.

In a must-win encounter to qualify for KMP, Sangam Y.B had Satyen Patil (24th) open their account in the Pool-C match up at the SSPMS ground. 

Changing ends, Sagar Poojari (36th) added the tally to stop KMP's qualification into the Super 8 round.

At SP College, in  Division action, Beta F.C won 1-0 against KMP with Yashodham Patil (59th) turning out to be a hero with the solitary strike.

F.C Pimpri Chinchwad in the same pool was unfortunate losing 1-2 to Indrayani S.C ‘B’. An early strike through Yuvi Chavan gave FC Pimpri Chinchwad the lead. But then (Sumit Ghonde (7th),  Manoj Sathi (45th) closed the game for Indrayani ‘B’
